Public Relations Specialist

Due to our tremendous growth and nationwide distribution, we are in need of a dynamic PR specialist who can help us raise and shape awareness about our innovative cleaning wipes, directing and educating consumers.


  • A creative and enthusiastic PR agent looking to join our in-house PR team in Chicago, Illinois.
  • 4+ years of experience working at a PR agency and/or corporate media relations team.
  • Strong contacts in the home cleaning products industry.
  • Experience in large household brand PR.
  • Bonus: Experience with corporate acquisitions.
  • Bonus: Writing/journalism experience.

Job Duties

  • Drive media coverage that educates consumers on the benefits of using Sandy Wipes products versus the competition, as well as the health/science of germs.
  • Create innovative PR campaigns from the ground up: draft pitches, press releases, bylined articles, talking points, media responses, and more.
  • Build relationships with business reporters.
  • Coordinate media interviews.
  • Find and secure speaking engagements.
  • Work with multiple teams including marketing and product development.

Senior Social Media Manager

As our company grows, we wish to invest in our web presence more. We've recently redesigned our website and now we wish to drive traffic to it, as well as increase our involvement in social media. As senior social media manager, you will help increase our website and Facebook visibility and popularity.


  • An enthusiastic and personable social media expert looking to join our team in Chicago, Illinois.
  • 5+ years in online marketing for a large corporation, with at least 3 years in social media specifically, with notable gains in site traffic and/or social media likes/followers/etc.
  • A thorough, exhaustive knowledge of Facebook, twitter and other social media platforms.
  • Bonus: Experience managing and delegating tasks to a team.
  • Bonus: Experience in the home cleaning products industry or similar.

Job Duties

  • Managing our Facebook page, including both content and design/organization, both firsthand and through delegation.
  • Attracting new customers through Facebook, using innovative methods to acquire more 'likes' or 'fans'.
  • Building, designing, managing and running a new Twitter account from the ground up, using innovative methods to acquire 'followers'.
  • Maintaining a modern, up-to-date knowledge on social media platforms, with the ability to join and setup accounts on new networks.
  • Building relationships with consumers: using social media as a tool for two-way communication, as opposed to one-way broadcasting of obvious 'advertising' content.
  • Work with multiple teams including marketing and product development.
